We stayed here for 9 days. Excellent stay. 1) Friendly frontdesk staffs. They are so friendly. My niece required 2nd small booklet of paper to draw as she lost her first booklet provided in hotel room. They tried their very best to understand what we would like to have, and they really give a new booklet to my little niece. 2) Fast check in and out. They explained to us the date of housekeeping and written on the paper card holder of room card. 3) Literally just 1 or 2 mins walking distance from Akabane South exit. Best!!! 4) Don Don Donki is just beside the next building. Family Mart, just at the left side of hotel, so many restaurants and stores surrounding the hotel. 5) They provide free ochazuke from 8pm till 10pm from Mon to Thurs, free afternoon tea too. Honestly, so so nice and we took for 2nd round!! They never show angry face or show us any attitude. I really love their hospitality.I like their rice with so many toppings (feel free to take). They are so kind and helpful. 6) They provide free hair oil, lotion, face wash, varieties of tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, combs, stirrer, toothbrush with toothpaste, room slippers just beside the check in counter. So friendly and lovely gesture!!! This can help hotel guest a lot!!! Thank you so much. My hair is frizzy, I really need the hair oil so much. The honey tea is really perfect drink. I love it so so much. 7) They cleaned our room perfectly fine and tidy. 8) There are breakfast buffet too at affordable price. Why is this hotel so nice? Taking care of our stomach. Thank you!! 9) Level B1 has spa, you can find laundry machine too at other level. You can even find ice machine too. 10) The hotel staffs allowed us to put our luggage first at the lobby area which is perfectly safe and tagged it with a tag. 11) They topped up free water for us at the 4th day of our stay.

I wish I could give a 20/10 as this hotel, its location, amenities and staff without forgetting restaurant were absolutely too notch and wrapping a superb holidays in Japan. The room while small was beautifully designed (don’t forget to store your suitcases underneath the beds!) with extremely comfortable beds and linen; The onsen is remarkably beautifully appointed and I had it to myself which was such a luxury! The in-house restaurant which we only tested on our day of departure for lunch is absolutely to put on your list of try-out: delicious meal as a send off from Japan! Don’t forget to enjoy their (free!) happy afternoon hour which is unheard of: who receive free sparkling wine and little pastries for free while staying at a hotel??? The staff is the cherry on the cake: sooo kind, helpful and just plain amazing Japanese hosts. The location of the hotel is literally a 3mn walk from the JR station which will take you everywhere you need in a…Tokyo minute ;) We just referred this hotel to friends heading to Tokyo this mid-October. This will be our hotel for whenever we’ll be in Tokyo next, which we hope will be soonz Arigato gozaimassu for hosting us so beautifully and kindly: we can’t wait to see you again!

I cannot sleep in a capsule style hotel or dorm, so I try to find an upscale budget hotel. This hotel is perfect. I get my own bathroom, and they have hot bath. Just what I'm looking for. The location is very near to the station, lots of konbini around, lots of restaurant and izakayas, even donki is just a few steps away and also malls. The room is small but decent, I have photos showing all my stuff laying around the room. It's not a big room for sure even for a 160cm like me plus a 55cm carry on luggage. Also very clean. The important thing to me is it has window with city view, not some random walls. The public hot bath is stunning. It's quite spacious actually. I never use my own bathroom cause I use that to do my makeup so I don't wanna get it wet. And I need a long bath after walking all day. I don't try their breakfast because I always wake up late and lots of restaurant around. The amenities is provided in the lobby. They only don't have body lotion and hair tie. Also they have 4 washing machine which is shown in the tv where the vacant spot is. Overall I really enjoy my stay, very very worth it, I'm glad I spent a bit more but got my own room and bathroom. I definitely will stay here again.

Room is slightly bigger than other business chain hotels in Japan and it was quiet. I was able to open my large luggage on the floor. LOL. The bathroom is spacious. Convenience stores are near the hotel. Location is near the train station. If you want 'real food' for lunch or dinner, you may walk towards the train station. There's a local grocery store nearby where you can buy fresh fruits. and the best part? a 24hr DonQi (Don Quijote) is 2 bldgs away from the hotel! LOL They may not have bathtubs in their room (except for the seniors room) but they do have a public bath separating men and women. Reminder: Akabane is known for their Izakaya (pub/bar) area where office workers chill after a long day at work. I was aware of this prior to booking the hotel. It didn't bother us (traveled with my senior parents). We actually went out and drank in one of the bars on our last night and my parents enjoyed it!

The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were very helpful and patient. They made the stay very pleasant. Thank you! Love the amenities provided - toiletries, beverages, nightgown and slippers etc. Awesome water pressure for the shower too. It would be nice to have hooks in the bathroom and room (and a room mirror) though. Plenty of space for that. The area is bustling and it is quite similar to Kabukicho with loads of eateries. Very close to the JR Akabane station via the east exit. It takes about 15 mins by train to get to Shinjuku which is basically quite ok but getting onto the trains just for that within peak hours can be challenging. There is an airport bus to Handa but unfortunately not to Narita. I do find that it is a little pricey though compared to my usual hotel. It would be good if there could be a different-price option for guests who do not use the spa and happyhour bar.
